yea, GPU runs a LOT cooler with the front panel off.

so far i have removed the front dust filter, taken out the front sound dampener, and took off the grill mesh thing. temps got reduced slightly. next thing is moving 2 of the 3 fans further away from the cover and more inside the case. for that, im just going to get some long screws, washers, and nuts and make a mount for them. i was thinking ~1" further away. CPU cooling isnt an issue at all. its just GPU. i have the CPU rad at the rear of the case as an intake.

This is a link to the Corsair Forum thread I was telling you about, inn case you are curious. It's long but it also shows how some people have dealt with the problem.

heres my new case! This case is just udderly amazing! the thing weighs 25lbs empty! it is almost all beefy metal incredibly quiet, looks amazing, and very sleek. idk about cooling performance yet. what im looking for however is braided gpu wires and braided 24pin wires. anyone know where i can get those adapters for my current PSU?
Nice looking case, I really think we're in a halcyon days period for case design with amazing style and functionality at affordable pricing.

I just redid the link in my post; try it again (the one in the original post, not this quote).

Cool (pardon the pun)! What dropped the temps?

I know that feeling but, trust me (the two most terrifying words my son would ever say to me), the feeling won't last.

Did this case not come with an adjustable GPU fan like this lower end NZXT case?

no, unfortunately it did not come with a GPU fan. link is working, ill check it out! the temps dropped because the rad fan is not being choked. in my previous case, the rad fan was being choked by the case its self.

EDIT: a lot of those ppl are cutting holes in the front. i cant do that because this case is all steel. i dont have the right tools to drill holes that big and that neat.

This is what I'm have been doing the last several days and nights. Getting those tubes plum and lever is very time consuming.
Making 25 special length cables for all the fans (14) and the abundance of lights is like something one wouldn't want to do everyday. Water cooling my video card lowered the temps 50% running FurMark burn in. Burn in test was 37C.
    Ambient 20C.
