Just gave a system like that to a friends family and I threw an old Q6600 that had been oc'ed in its life at it. If handled well a used one should still be kicking, they were always robust if a little on the hot side.

You know you're bored when you get excited about adding a senseless piece of coiled decoration that serves no purpose and even has an arguable aesthetic addition. It does look nice with my case lighting though and worth the $4.99.

Actually, those coils are not senseless decoration. Their original purpose was to prevent hose kinking.

That said, making something look good also isn't senseless, nor is enjoying it.

Thanks Lady Fitzgerald it's something I've wanted to add to make the hoses a feature as I can't make them disappear. I've notice that with them installed I'm now able to add almost 47% more voltage through my flux capacitor which makes my trips into hyperspace faster and smoother !

Raise the voltage another 4% to put a full 1.21 gigawatts through the flux capacitor and your rig will smoothly and quickly travel through hyperspace to last week.
