CPU for my MSI H81M-E33 motherboard

hello i have a question my motherboard MSI H81M-E33 takes a LGA 1155 socket.. i checked the page for the mother board for CPU support to show my what works with my board.. but my question is can i use any lga 1155 socket cpu with my board, or do i have to stay with what they say i can use?? i found some good 1155 cpu that i like but they are not on the list... i always thought that as long as its the right socket then dont matter on cpu... any help would be awesome thanks..

No, you can`t choose any socket 1155, it has to be on the upgrade list.
