That sounds good. In my opinion, you can't beat a good fan controller. Or, maybe I'm just a control freak. I like to set them like I want them and not have software do it. But, that's just me.

Yes, the one i took is powerfull and manage quite well the Fan Speed, is reactive. It lets me also seing volts per channel used when i lower the fan speed. Basics but efficient.

The Asus Fan xPert+ that i like to use too.

That's a bit needed for having a good airflow, found my motherboard to hit 30°C sometimes and that does mean chipset/mosfets goes over 48°C.

I never had much luck with programs controlling fans. Like Steve I like to control them and then monitor the effects so I can fine tune them to the need of the system and my ears.

I'm using the Software only for the onboard fans which i found easy to manage the curve, the others are on my fan controller, guided to my ears too but that's not easy task to evaluate the input flow to match the output flow, depending of size of your Fans (not your ears! ).

NoN, you will have better luck if your input is greater than your output. That will give you positive air pressure in the case and force the hot air in the case outside through all the grating and cracks and creases in the case. That has been shown to help the case and especially the dust by 30%.

Thanks for the advice essenbe, i recon dust is hell to filter and evacuate!

Meanwhile, i've completed my Water Cooling Loop this evening and it was a new experience and to drain properly, add that 120 Rad with the Scythe fan that is running smooth at 1600Rpm!

I doubt i can add anything else now, but the point was cooling only that CPU for me! Fairly tough to setup!!

I've also added a Temp Sensor before the coolant goes in the "In" Res Tank that my Fan controller monitor (see pic), so now i am knowing which Temp it goes after liquid pass through the 120 Rad => CPU => 240 Rad.
Sensor is actually at 26°C. CPU is at 31°C while normal browsing.

I've to monitor and test for a little while because all this is new to me and i'm willing to learn about Water Cooling.

Tooks me ages (the reason i'm posting so late) but happy of the result now.

I have a simple little test that works for me.

Tools needed.
Flash light
Lit cigarette

Go all around the computer when running and check where the smoke goes. If it sucks smoke in the case around all the little holes or cracks you DO NOT have positive pressure.
I found that the little fan on my Sabertooth motherboard was a intake of unfiltered air doing this method.
All I had to do was turn it around.
Smoke does not know how to lie.

I know what you mean...but ain't gonna do that with that sticky cigarettes smoke!

I've a hot-swap bay on top which have a hatch...when i push it i can feel the airflow going out of it. I also had to put some tape on the sides of the front panel Fan intake to allow only the air coming from it because of the design behind and HDDs couldn't have that air properly.

But i might check others, as you mentioned.

I recon my case is quite fill-up well, now...it has let me stumped to just stare at...nothing more could be added!!!

Well you could use a scented candle of some sort or one of those little sticks you lite. I do think the Colt 4 might be a bit much.

Shame on you Steve; now you have left Bigger Case, Bigger Case in NoN subconscious.
