    Does this motherboard support Quad-core proccesors?

    Does it? Please don't send me links, just answer me with a yes or no and if yes please give me the name of the processor. Thanks :) Will it make a difference with my current system build?

    Appears to be a lot of choices for the board, have to link you to the compatibility list, too many...

    I am not a pro with AMD processors, but I do not that this is an actually pretty out of date motherboard, so you should buy a newer motherboard if you have the money to if you do not have the cpu yet.

    My entire build is old, so if I had to buy a new motherboard I'd have to buy an entire set of PC components.

    It supports up to the Phenom II x4 965 as well as up to the x6 1090T,

    Motherboards - M3A78-CM - ASUS

    About the only thing you might have to do is update the bios the the latest version if you don't have it.

been noticing this over the last several weeks.....core 3 is always lower in temps than than the rest of the quad......any idea why?
