    so i got my 2 x 4gb ram today i put it in but my monitor keeps saying no cable detected (the ram came in its original packaging i also try ed to take out slot 3 with 4 in and take out 4 with 3 in but it kept saying the same thing so i was just wondering if it was probably because of my fake os

    anyone have any ideas on the ram issue i have try ed putting the new ram in slot 1 and 2 and it works fine but as soon as i put any ram in dimm3 or 4 it dose not display anything on my monitor it just says no cable detected any ideas?

    it should be here on the 11th or 12th guess u think it may be the unlegit ver of win 7 that's messing me up then.how do i get the log when i do get the legit win 7 and install it ?

    Have you downloaded and installed all Windows Updates?

    Make sure you have them. Then lets see if the mismatch goes away.

    yes i have also i got motherboard updates i think its just a bad mob considering when i had 2 sticks of ram it was suppose to go in dimm slots 2 and 4 seams like dimm slots 3 and 4 are faulty this is getting annoying considering amazon 30 day return policy guess i have to buy another mob
