Best CPU Fan

Sometimes using a Noctua or a Phsnteks fan doesn't help with the temps. The temps in some cases will be the same as the other fans. They just do it very quite.
Their is no way I could run 13 loud fans in one case. I always run all fans at 100%. I just don't want to have to wear ear plug and watch the neighbors dog go crazy.

The 2 fans that came with the H80i cooled great. The Noctua fans cooled exactly the same but quietly.

Quality quiet fans is a cheap investment in sanity.
Spend all day in a 8x12 room with two computers running and 20 loud fan would make anybody go crazy.
People don't have a problem spending $600.00 on a video and then $200.00 or $300.00 on a set of ear phones so they don't have to listen to the fans when playing the game.

sound dosnt bother me, at idle, its quiet, and while gaming, i have a 1200W audio setup, so that its not an issue. just wanted to reduce temps.

Did you notice the quality quiet Corsair fans are also not cheap?

No matter how one rolls the dice quality and cheap just don't go together.
I also understand that sometimes these types of fans don't fit in to some budgets. One has to decide what their priorities are.
If you have enough sound system and crank it up noisy fans shouldn't be a problem.

I'm using 5 of the 140mm versions in my rig, 2 on my Corsair H110.

I highly recommend this line of fans if performance and quality is what you're after. But fair warning, they can be rather loud at the full 3000 RPM (at least the 140mm versions, which I can attest to, since I use them). This is mostly due to "wind noise" from the large volume of air they're moving at this speed, rushing past and around other components, as opposed to "fan whine." Thankfully they're 4-pin PWM fans, so I've set up custom fan curves for them in my ASUS motherboard software for high performance when I need it and quieter operation when I don't.

The fans are pretty "ridiculous," even having dust and water proofing ratings, and are overkill for most people's needs, but when you want the best of the best...

Oh, I just wanted to also mention (contrary to the video below) that the price of these fans wasn't really all that much more for me compared to other high-end fans on Amazon (where I picked up mine), but their performance potential is significantly higher (in terms of both the volume of air per time that they can move, and especially their static air pressure, where these fans can actually displace several times again more mm of water height - the 3000rpm 140mm fans I got are rated to 10.52mm, for example - the 3000rpm 120mm versions are rated to 7.63mm). Whether they're worth it to someone else or not... well, that's for them to decide.

They have higher static pressure (which is much more important on a rad than airflow) than any other fan I know of. The Industrial in their name means something. In an industrial environment, noise is not important as performance. They are louder at high speed. But with the high static pressure you can turn them down to a comfortable level under normal circumstances, and turn them up when you need the better performance. Turn them down to about 800 RPMs and they are pretty quiet, but still perform well. When you are gaming or running prime, turn the suckers up and let it go. You sort of get the best of both worlds. That's what you are paying premium price for.
