Can I overclock without UEFI MODE set up

I have asus m5a99fx mobo with amd fx-6300 cpu and windows7 64bit. Windows is installed as bios mode not UEFI MODE. Can I still overclock the cpu, I am confused about this. Thanks for any help.

If you have the necessary settings in BIOS and your CPU multiplier is adjustable you can.

You should be fine...You also might be confused by the wording of "Bios UEFI", that new and easy to browse User Interface (User Easy Friendly Interface).

I'm a Legacy Mode boot not UEFI Mode Boot which use the same "Bios UEFI" user Interface.

Its a bit like asking...Do i really need to subscribe to Paypal payments, let my creditcard numbers, then go out to the supermarket buying some food?....It's an image...!!

Your motherboard will handle fine overclocking as you have it right now!

You've got 6+2 power phases + 2 Dram memory phases and you can expect to go at least 4,8Ghz.
