Monitor advice - if you would!

I'm looking at getting a new 27" monitor for Christmas from the wife and kids. There's nothing wrong with my current one (in my specs) I just want a bigger one. It'll be used for plenty of gaming and graphics work in CS2. I'm torn between these two but am leaning towards the Samsung, I love their stuff and all of our TVs, monitors and Blu-rays are Samsung. The upside to the ASUS is that it has built in speakers, even though I game mostly with a headset as the wife and kids are watching the TV or something. Let me know what you think and which one you'd go for.

I would have told you to go with this one ASUS Shop ? ASUS Monitors / 27" / VG278HE It's the one I have and it's great for gaming, maybe not so much for graphics. 144HZ is great for gaming.

I've wanted a 144Hz monitor for a while now but was only really willing to go to £200 or so Steve. The 980 is really pulling me in so I had to trim my monitor requirements down a bit. The balance between gaming and graphics was important too, I'll let you know how the Samsung performs.
