    Custom Build Laptop

Hey there lads/Ladies, Long time no see eh!

Looking to spend around £700/£900 absolute max on a custom laptop. Looking for 1920x1080 res, Quad Core Intel preferred but i love AMD so would take either if it saves cash! Looking for a GPU that will run everything current at close to highest settings, Cheers

I am not aware of any way to custom build a laptop and save any money over what you can buy pre-built. When I have played around with the numbers (and this is assuming I could retrofit a motherboard into a case) the cost FAR exceeded the cost of a similar laptop pre-built.

My assumption has always been that when it comes to laptops and tablets the only way to go is to shop for the unit that has the most specs on your wish list from a reliable manufacturer.

Yeah I know what you mean mate but by custom build I mean, sites like PC specialist, I tell them what I want, they build the laptop for me, wasn't mean to build it myself.
