AMD FX8230E Big Bang for your Buck

Hey guys ,I have to say i am actually impressed a little with AMD this time around

Reason why they made a lower TDP chip that overclocks the same and is cheaper by $40 dollars or more depending what chip and TDP you are looking at

I paired this CPU with a GTX970 G1 yes i know it is bottlenecked not because of the CPU it's because of the PCI-E lanes being 2.0 and not 3.0

Now after Overclocking this chip to 4.8 Ghz with a Vcore 0f 1.45 on offset mode cool and quiet enabled and auto AMP mode this chip offers comparable performance to a I5-4670 Stock or a Stock I7-3770K or even a 3770K @4.2 Ghz any more and obviously the I7-3770K will just clean house with it

strange enough these combination of parts offer a mean Budget Rig that will actually keep you up with good FPS when DX12 hits i am expecting the limiting cap to come off some and improve this set up by 40% vs 60% on systems with a 3.0 PCI-E Bus

    The Build is

    990FX Asrock Fatality Killer Mobo
    FX8320E @4.8Ghz CPU
    Corsair H75 watercooler
16GB of Ballistix Sport Ram 1600mhz
    SSD 128GB OCZ Agility
    HDD 500GB Seagate Barracuda
    PSU 750 Corsair CX-M 750W
    Case CoolerMaster Elite 370
Case fans Corsair Static Presure fans and stock case fans

    Some Benchmarks

Thank you Doug i just gamed on it for 30 minutes and it runs pretty great

It passed IBT at 58c but damn i am running like 4.8 Ghz at 1.4875 damn ridiculous and on the Bios it tells me this chip can achieve a 6.2 Ghz OC good luck with that i will never try that chip would burn up with any kind of cooling i have you need that LN2 stuff

Speaking of which i am going to be posting some more benches and would like you to compare them to your 4.8 OC just for kicks what do you think ?

I actually want to challenge all I5 users to stack up against this chip only thing though they will bury me on GPU performance

which one's would you like to see i am going upstairs to start the gauntlet lol
