    As 5 or ic diamond


    Hi all I have used AS 5 thermal paste for a long time , and I I was going to use ic diamond because its non conductive, Has any one used ic good bad any input? thanks

    I'll tell you. Thermal paste all the top well known brands. Just pick the one you can afford. The difference between them is negligible.

    I have used many through the years. Right now I'm using AS -5.

    I have not seen much difference using different quality thermal paste.

    You will see a difference if you apply to much paste.

    I've seen allegations that the diamond stuff can deface the CPU and therefore may affect the likelihood of a successful RMA if you have a defective CPU.

    I have no idea how true that is.

    I've always used Arctic Silver 5. I wouldn't agonize over the thermal paste at all unless I was straining for the fastest possible overclock.

    I only tend to use 2 and performance varies

    Arctic Silver by far one of the best and Antec 6 or 7 Nano Diamond compound
