That's a high quality power supply if it's a Rosewill Capstone 550 80 Plus Gold or a Rosewill Capstone 550-M 80 Plus Gold.

    Both made by Super Flower.

    $750 for

    • CPU: I7 4770K
    • Mobo: Asus Maximus VI Impact
    • HDD: 256GB SSD
    • RAM: G Skill 16GB RAM
    • Water Cooler: Corsair H100
    • Case: Bitfenix Prodigy Mini Itx
    • PSU: 450w Gold Modular PSU
    • GPU: Radeon HD 7970
    • Keyboard: Razer DeathStalker

He says it is basically brand new and enjoys building as a hobby. Do you think I should jump on it?
I really appreciate it, thank you guys.

All that sounds legit but one thing i have never heard ever of a HD7970 using such a small power supply when i had Crossfire they needed atleast a 600watt to power one correctly 2 would run with a 800watt because they wouldn't use as much power together
Actually it's a 550 watt. PCPartPicker doesn't have a problem with the wattage. Maybe you had a better CPU, more harddrives maybe? (not sure how much of a difference that makes)

Btw the Mobo and CPU would be about $700 on it's own i would take someone that knows parts real well and can smell BS when it comes time to let the person know you smell it
I definitely would if I knew anyone with this knowledge.

The PSU is a 550 Rosewell capstone gold series. PCPartPicker is showing no issue with the PSU: Intel Core i7-4770K, EVGA GeForce GTX 970, BitFenix Prodigy (Black) - System Build - PCPartPicker
    You are wrong...

The Rosewill Capstone 550W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply length of 163mm exceeds BitFenix Prodigy (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case maximum of 160mm.

The BitFenix Prodigy (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case supports video cards up to 317mm long, but video cards over 177mm may block drive bays. Since the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX 2.0 Video Card is 257mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

Unable to verify the BitFenix Prodigy (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case has sufficient mounting depth to support the Corsair H100 92.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler 240mm radiator.

As i stated in my first post, what you are being offered does not work out in terms of hardware / cost...
Oh, I was talking about the wattage.

A 3 mm overage I assume wouldn't make it non-compatible. If you say it would, I will believe you though. Are these things that strict that you can't go over by a millimeter? EDIT: So I did find this article that says with careful wire routing you are able to fit a 163mm PSU:

A quick look at BitFenix's Prodigy enclosure - The Tech Report - Page 2

The PSU bay is tight, with barely enough clearance for the Rosewill Fortress 550W units packed into our rigs. We had to route cables carefully just to get that PSU into the chassis. Admittedly, we're exceeding the maximum size by a smidgen. Our units are 6.4" (163 mm) long; the official FAQ recommends using PSUs no longer than 5.9" (150 mm), and it identifies the maximum length as 6.3" (160 mm). You're better off sticking with shorter ATX units to avoid the hassle.

Happily, thanks to the Prodigy's width, there's plenty of room for excess cabling on either side of the PSU. The motherboard tray and second internal wall are perforated with routing holes, making it easy to lace a relatively clean layout with only the zip-ties included in the box. I also like that the power supply sits on fat rubber bumpers to dampen vibration. The reversible back plate is a nice touch, too, especially given the filtered grill in the bottom panel.
For the GPU, it says it supports the video card, just that some drive bays may not be usable. (That message comes up with the 7970 too.)

As for the H100, it just says it is unable to verify, not that it is surely non-compatible. There are builds of the Bitfenix Prodigy with the H100, so I assume it is compatible.

    Here are pictures of it:

    If you like buy it
Just remember there's no refunds on CL and since most of the items are in his name returns if issues happen are complicated just a tad bit.

If you buy that on Criags List I have 100 acres of desert in Arizona and 50 acres of swampland in Florida to build a house for your PC to live in.
I would not touch that with a bargepole.

There's a value in everything. If the land is free, sure I'll take it. Las Vegas was built in the desert and Orlando on swampland.
