    need help with cpu upgrade..

Hello i am in need of a new cpu upgrade, right now i have a AMD Athlon II X2 260 on my MSI 970 gaming motherboard, i have 6gigs of DDR3 PC3 12800 (1600) ram, the cpu i have right now does not support the speed of my ram so its running at a slow speed... what would be a good upgrade for me..i also have a MSI MS202 on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 v2 for graphics card.. i dont need a super powerful cpu, but i dont want a crappy cpu either...

thanks in advance for any help and info...

    thanks

    Hi,
Kind of anticlimactic being a AMD but this was a suggestion from Amazon from your board
    Amazon.com: AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor: Computers & Accessories

    thanks

If you have a waterblock get a FX8320 and overclock it

it has the same power overclocked as a 8350 actually you can get the FX8320e and overclock it to 4.5 Ghz and you would be on par with a Intel I5 3570K

Just make sure that you don't use the stock cooler. FX 8350s run hot, and the cooler is barely adequate for the task.
