The H100i wont fit in my case.

Oh okay and so 1866 is classed as better ram?

Should i upgrade to the 6600k and the fan for the extra £50? Is it worth it?

These fans are quite expensive and so that'll have to wait but these are the ones that are compatible, which one would you recommend?

Why do you need a liquid cooler at all, least of all on a budget build--which is the title you gave this thread??

Your budget is moving all over the place.

Do you have a budget you must stay within or not?

If you intend to get a K processor, presumably you are going to overclock. If not, don't get a K.

Are you experienced in overclocking and/or liquid cooling?

You can clock to high levels on air cooling. Millions of people do it every day.

1866 is slightly faster than 1600. If you really don't have a limited budget, why not get 2666 or 3200 speed?

You've got to set some priorities or you will remain indecisive and subject to poor decision-making--unless you don't really have a budget in which case bad decisions don't matter because you can always just buy replacement parts.

Nobody can accurately tell you whether anything is "worth it". Maybe bad decisions don't bother you.

The H80i Gt would be the best or the H75 would be fine it has a thick radiator of 29mm
The H60 & H75 both have 27mm either would work too but the above 2 would be the 2 I would consider.

Most people would go liquid because it is for the most part a lot quieter than air it's a nice future upgrade is the bottom line.

You're at a pretty good pace on the build K series is always good if you can fit it in

Liquid cooling is something i want apart of my system and i think that for the price this liquid cooler would be suitable for the 6600k which i will overclock. I am still in my budget with the 6600k.

Everyone has to start somewhere, so no i am not experienced in overclocking and water cooling but theres lots of videos online and as everyone says google is your friend. Which is where i found this forum in the first place.

I think putting the thermal paste down might be the hardest thing for me, just putting the right amount on top of the cpu and spreading it. I've read all the pages from this topic and its pretty descriptive.

Getting a 3200 speed will cost me hundreds and a 1866 is only £2 up from a 1600. Ive picked the 2 x 4GB as ive read about 'duel channel' speeds and although it wont considerably affect me as all i do is game if i ever choose to create videos and then render then it would be much quicker than a single 1 x 8GB.

However, im an idiot thinking i make £1000's a month and this is going a little too expensive at this pace. Trying to make my build fancy by making the theme red and black but its coming costy AND, i still dont have a video card that'll cost me another £100 after a few months or year. AND Operating System.(Found a way round it, shhh) Im only 15 turning 16 this year and I think ill had a stable job at the start of next year so ill make this build possible but it may take time. Lets not forget there may be more discounts on black friday and before christmas!

Yep I didn't see an image of the cpu cooler but I'm sure it will be okay :)

Well if you got the B150 gaming it has onboard graphic's so it should be fine for a little while and it looks like a nice board to grow into

Agreed look for saving through the holidays

Awesome, thanks. When i have the sufficient funds i want to buy either a gtx 970 or gtx 960. What one do i buy because theirs asus, evga, zotac, msi, gigabyte... Which would be best for my build and price wise nothing over £200

    This any good?

And im thinking of going with windows 8.1 64 bit what do you think?

You intend to overclock a 6600K on an Asus B150 Pro Gaming D3 motherboard?

    Do I have that right?

And you intend to use DDR4 RAM on this Asus B150 Pro Gaming D3 motherboard?

    Do I have that right?

As you said yourself, "Google is your friend".

    I don't know where you're getting ddr4 memory the last image post clearly shows ddr3 1866 :/
Which is compatible with the B150 board as shown on the screen shot I posted on the previous page 6
