Okay just make sure the mother board has a usb3 port on it because that is what the blue cable connects to.

    My motherboard has 2 x USB 3.1 Gen2 + 4 x USB 3.1 Gen1 + 2 x USB 2.0 + ( 2 x USB 3.1 Gen1 + 2 x USB 2.0 via headers). That'll be compatible right?

    Question
I want to buy my PSU but its USB / Firewire cable is missing, is that okay or is it needed for some reason?

I would not buy a used PSU.

Why get it from Amazon ? Try Corsair directly.

I dont see the problem in buying a used PSU except it might be dusty and might make noise already but not too bothered as its cheaper. Also cheaper than buying directly from Corsair.

Well you do have 30 days to see if the voltage outputs are working
But a used bronze rated psu :/
    Good luck with that :)
What is the warranty of the bronze series/ 3 years/ and just how used is it 4 years old ?
