Yep 500w
The troubling thing I see is it comes with Mcafee preinstalled which can be a bugger to get rid of completely,

Yes but it is smaller than a normal mid tower case which may possibly even restrict ventilation probably considered a mini case
So best I can say is get rid of Mcafee asap
Then use this to monitor temps and post them here,
Download Real Temp 3.70 | techPowerUp

Here's one review
Quote:
Cons: All of that is undermined by the fact that the PSU is so inadequate to handle the components, that random shutdowns and reboots plague this system constantly. 500W is sufficient, but the fact that the company refuses to elaborate on the specific model of the power supply should say something. Despite having minimum wattage, something about the model causes it to be insufficient. And being a prebuilt, if you want to upgrade the PSU, you need to upgrade the motherboard as well considering it has a modified connector port to for the PSU
Probably more the stock cpu cooler is not good enough for the 4970 cpu
The case may seriously limit cpu cooler upgrading
Limiting you to only liquid cpu coolers which are great but a tad more than a good CoolerMaster 212 evo air cooler,
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 2011/1366/1155 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM3+ - Newegg.com
So if you have rendome shut downs or rebooting going on you have 2 options
Return it
Or upgrade the cpu cooler to one of these that will most likely fit,
Hydro Seriesā„¢ H80i GT High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

That does not sound good at all. A skimpy PSU is the worst situation to be in.

Yea I don't believe 500w is really skimpy :/
A shut down or forced reboot might be more temperature related than power loss ?
220w now that is skimpy

It depends of what is hanging on the PSU. One would have to add up the requirements of all the components to really know.
