    Yea I believe I would rather hook a dumb t.v. to a computer than buying a smart t.v.
    Easier to deal with for one I would imagine than jumping through hoops to for one adding an antivirus and malware protection to it.

    Well if only. You don't know my parents and their fears towards the new technologies advancements that are out there, to put it plainly my parents reactions towards technology is basically the fear of Skynet.

    But yeah have to agree with you partially, it ain't that smart.

    Network wise it's a disaster waiting to happen with a object streaming and really no security :)
