The OP gets a new mobo, then possibly needs a new psu, and a new case - when does this become a new computer. It's a bit like the Greek legend Ship of Theseus.

I've got to admit most of my pcs started out as something quite different and morphed into their present setup.

There used to be a UK sitcom where a character had used the same broom for 20 years, although in that time it had had 17 new heads and 14 new handles. When asked 'how can it be the same broom?', he produces a picture of him with the original broom, saying 'how much proof do you need?'.

Dell Power Supplies are not bad though (Except if you find a "BESTEC" brand with it, check the revision)
