    CPU Overclock Help

Hey I am wanting to overclock my CPU, and I've never overclocked a CPU before, and I need some help on it. My motherboard is an EVGA 730i with 2GB of Corsair Gaming Memory 800MHz, my graphics card is an Nvidia 9600GT, my CPU is an Intel Pentium D 2.80GHz, and I think my power supply is a BFG 450W. If anyone has had this motherboard and processor, or knows how to overclock it, I'd appreciate any help you have.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF YOUR ACTIONS! YOU BRAKE IT, TOO BAD!

hi... :) try to use Rivatuner (google it!) its an amazing overclocking program and its relatively easy to use. Make sure you have a GOOD cooling system, and please download http://www.speccy.com to watch your temperature...

When you start overclocking, just increase by 0.01 - 0.02 Ghz at a time... Start overclocking a TINY bit, then reboot to see if it even wants to deal with you (i've tryed that before...) you should see clear signs when its time to stop... (screen flicker & BSOD :S) please have speccy open when you start overclocking..

i hope you find this helpfull... goodnight..
