Sure, any time Steve. But I am no W8P expert, just a casual user. I found it to be easy to setup but there are a few caveats and a few must have programs. Here is a thread I have started on the 8-forum that gives a report about my experience and a lot of valuable input from real W8P experts.

My first days with a Windows 8 phone

PS: Make sure you have a MicroSD card handy. I use a 32GB model but it takes up to 64GB. Size will depend on how much data you want to carry. Music an videos do well. The little speaker is quite good.

That's correct, any license at the moment. I even have a "spare" XP key.

You can install OEM licenses on any computer. I do that all the time.

Oh so maybe it was that you cant use a OEM_SLP key from another computer. My mistake.

You can't use the SLP to activate, you need the key on the COA sticker.
