How did you come to that conclusion. He just set his ram to rated settings.

xXXSevenXXx - If you do go down the Overclocking route, do at your own risk, if you do, there are lots of posts and tutorials on how to achieve this.

We have been through all the basics on another thread with this issue, all warnings and disclaimers have been noted and given to xXSevenXx, as well as links to info and more information.

His RAM was running at 1066, some basic OC steps were learned and used to get it to 1600.
