How can I overlock my Graphics Card?

I am very new to overclocking but would like to try and overclock my ATI Radeon X1200 Series Graphics Card. How can I go about doing this.

To what end? It's a pretty dated card, so if the thinking is that an oc would allow you to play modern games, I think you might be disappointed with the end results?

Having said that, do you have ATI's CCC? If you do, you can always use the Overdrive function to clock up a bit (sorta like a built in cool-bits), or you can use MSI's Afterburner.

Do yourself a favor and don't. Laptops and overclocking don't mix well. Same Acer 5520 here,

and very good explanations as to why not to overclock it.

Ah... I didn't notice it was a laptop, sorry. Listen to Stormy: don't.
