system boots only after 10 mins even after formatting

    how do i get into safe mode.cut the power and start again?or any other steps

    With my above post, include this too.

    Is your RAM a single 2GB strip or 2x1GB?

    If separate, remove one and start the computer and check. If no issues, replace with the other one and check.

    After you start your computer, press the F8 key continously, till you get a set of lines.
    Select the first one, which says boot into safe mode.
    Check, if windows work normally.

    thats the problem man my ram is a single 2 gb.not two 1 gbs

    There are many qns unanswered till now.
    1. Is your system a branded one like Dell, Lenovo?
    2. System normal in safe mode?
    3. Any 3rd party applications installed?
    4. What AV you use?

    ok man.its the same in safe mode too.the screen is like "loading system......." and it stays that way for 10 mins and its normal again.
    1.no my pc is not a branded one cuz we dont have any companys in nepal.only the laptops are branded.all the pcs are custome made.we install whatever we want.no specific components.
    2.no not normal.but after the stuck startup its normal
    3.no.freshly formatted
    4.what is an av?sorry

    Ok, where exactly your computer is getting stuck?
    During the starting windows?
    After login, etc.
