    allow files on this drive to have its contents indexed in addition to file propertes

    i dont use the search on my pc

    you can completely disable indexing if you want (Control panel indexing options) , but honestly mate i wouldnt worry about it you'll never notice it it wont affect performance and you never know , one day you might be searching for an illusive file and with indexing running you'll find it .00000067 of a second faster

    Of course. I'm pretty sure that if you weren't supposed to disable it Microsoft wouldn't have provided you with the means for doing so.
