    A little help?

Hey I'm not great with computers, as you'll probably shortly find out but, I own a Dell Inspiron, and whenever I press the CTRL key, a circle appears and then goes away again. The same circle randomly appears when Im using the laptop aswell, does anyone know what this is and if I can deal with it? Its starting to annoy me.

That is a mouse setting. I have mine set to do that. With these old eyes, I can't always readily see where the pointer is. Go to Control Panel and select Mouse. Click on the Pointer Options tab. Look at the last option at the bottom and uncheck it. You will see that mine is checked.
