How do I disable the Windows 7 process wlcomm.exe?

I need to lighten the load off my lower end E5200 processor. Wlcomm.exe seems to use quite a bit of memory.

It is my understanding wlcomm.exe is part of the "Windows Live Contact".

We do use "Windows Live Mail".

How can prevent wlcomm.exe from starting up when I boot Windows?

I did uninstall Windows Live Messenger since wlcomm.exe has something to do with the program. However, whenever I boot Window's Live mail, the process starts agin.

Is it actually causing a problem? I think not.
Should just leave it alone.

Go to search, type the word services. If the process appears, reset to your liking. Or go to msconfig, startup and untick, if the option appears. If the problem is not resolved reset to default settings

Yes it can easily be stopped but I have a feeling Windows Live Mail will want to puke if it's disabled. If the process has increased to an undesirable size, close out Windows Live Mail and restart it.
