You bring up the nvstor error for the third time and now this is the third time I am responding that you need to install the full NVidia chipset as the Win7 installer doesn't always provide all of its component drivers.

I cannot look up the chipset for you on the Packard Bell website because there is no such model number listed as what you have posted in your Specs. You'll need to determine the correct model number and go to the Packard Bell Support Downloads webpage, search for your model computer to download and install (as Admin) the chipset.

If the chipset is not avaialble on the Downloads page for your computer model, you'll need to determine what exact chipset your computer has and download it from NVidia Downloads webpage to install.

Exactly what happens when you try to run the Win7 Repair install? Does it give you an error message? Try opening the disk in Explorer to rightclick Setup then Run as Administrator. If it will still not run, where did you get the DVD? Did you burn it yourself? Try burning another using ImgBurn at 4x speed.

If you have any questions about how to complete any of these steps then please ask back so some progress can be made.

Link to the Packard Bell download page: Support Download

As Greg said, there is no computer on there site with that model number, and google searching just tells me that is might be a iPower series computer.

Hey there I had the same problem, the Acer computer I recently bought was not listed on the acer website either maybe it was counterfeit who knows.. haha just kidding these manufacturers probably have better stuff to do then add these low end computers on their website. So anyways I downloaded the nforce drivers from Nvidia and had it detect the settings all together. Now the nforce drivers and nvidia video drivers were not in the same package as I had to download 2 different versions and install the video drivers seperately.

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Also, if you want to speed up your computer thats easy!! Buy more RAM!! or buy a computer that is not made by HP because that just = Huge Problem.. These are made for convenience for non computer literate people. hense people that say., where is the start button? Or where is the Windows Pearl? Anyways take our advise if this doesnt help you then all I can say is only God can help you.

    Cheers.

Best thing anyone can do for a new HP is wipe the HDD and reinstall windows minus any HP apps.. that alone will do more for its speed than almost any hardware upgrade

Agreed. Just the HP connection manager alone adds up to 30 seconds to boot time. Win7 has much better built-ins of all the HP utilities.

Make your HP Recovery Disks first as you can extract needed apps (like Works - audit key from HD using Belarc Advisor) from Recov Disks using this: https://www.sevenforums.com/installat...tml#post488270

really, they're nothing more than a duplication of native windows functions with a different UI..
