Aero [wtf] slow computer warning ??? machine is a resource monster

WINDOWS HAS DETECTED THAT YOUR COMPUTERS PERFORMANCE IS SLOW !!!

    Mobo: P6X58D Premium
    BIOS: AMI 0703
    CPU: I7 930
    RAM: OCZ3P1366LV6G 12 Gig
Vid: Sapphire 5770 Vapor Dual plus 5460
    PSU: CMP850 HX
    SDD: 2x OCZSSD2-1VTX60G FW 1.6 RAID 1 OS only
    HDD: 2x Samsung F1 RAID HE 103UJ 1T 7 partition RAID 1 Data only
    Samsung Spinpoint F3EG HD203WI 2T backup only
    OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64

So all of a sudden I get a message that I am running out of memory and Aero is using most of dedicated memory. At this time I am using maybe half of my normal window load. (though I just installed Netflix Silver light)

I have 12 gig on this beast and have yet to EVER see resources go over 3.2 Gig.

Why am I getting complaints now?

Black background no icons bare every thing no gaming....

Also of a bother lately is a definite LAG when opening up a data drive explorer for the first time, very weird behavior, only happens on first shot an then faster than fast.

From an XP point of view I love it 7 for the most part.

    Peeves:

    • This Aero compliant
    • No suitable Mouse follows cursor ( need to turn on and off TXmouse as needed for functionality [almost tedious])
    • RDPclip keeps messing up at the worst of times
    • sluggish initial search of RAID array 2 (Data Drive)

If you want to disable Aero:

    • Right Click on your Desktop and select ” Personalize ” click the Window Color Tab.
    • Uncheck the Box saying ” Enable Transparency ” and then click on ” Open classic appearance properties for more color options”.
    • Then a window will open up. Apply a Standard or Basic theme from it. The Standard Windows 7 theme is more preferred.

Personally I don't have any problems with Aero.

If you don't copy between server and client (host and remote), you can disable rdpclip.

    Thanks for reply...

This is well and good for a work around, and in fact I have done as much
    BUT
As you can see there is an over abundance of resources available

What would the proper configuration be for Aero to be happy.

Oh and another Peeve is hidden Audio components LOL

    This is a peeve.
The fact is that there is the need for this between 100 client hosts.

    Sometimes as a solution
killing the rdpclip process will allow cut and paste to work but it is NOT reliable.
