CPU usage problem

Hey.

Im new here but im suffering from a performance problem. I try to stress my CPU with SuperPI (a program that just calculates pi) my CPU usage doesn't go up to 100%. As you can see from this screenshot: http://koti.mbnet.fi/epsii/cap2.jpg (And I don't mean overall CPU usage, just single core!)

I noticed this problem with an old game I like to play. It doesn't understand much about gfx cards but it should keep cpu usage up like SuperPI but one day it started strutting and fps got a lot worse. Some other benchmarking programs like furmark firmly keep the CPU usage at 100% tho. Any ideas on how to fix it?

My System:
-Windows 7 64bit
-Intel Q9400
-4GB DDR2

If you want to use a better stress testing program, try Prime95:

Free Software - GIMPS

There is a 64 bit version available. It's never failed me yet.

If it works right and your CPU doesn't lock up or fail, then we can try to see if we can help fix your other problem.
