Please, These Random CPU Spikes are getting on me :3

Just recently, I've been noticing these spikes since they have become more dominant then ever. I first started noticing a problem after I wasn't able to select multiple icons with the Ctrl key and left click technique, and that lead to this constant typing lag. It seems like the spikes are increasing with shorter intervals :S.

So let me know what I have to Print Screen in order to help you guys...help me, any help would be appreciated to solve this nuisance.

Just so you know this is a custom built pc.

I also I should mention that my previous GirlFriend ...has indeed installed key loggers on my pc before. One by the name of Desktopshark.............wow just by writing that out, guess what just popped out on the screen THE DAMN KEY LOGGER.............................. O_O

Well I hope this will solve my issues from now on.... Here's a screen shot...what a stab on the back from her, I thought I got rid of the first two...I can only imagine when she installed this one.

Maybe the cpu spikes are from the keylogger. You could Try uninstalling it and see if their is any difference.

It is what I'm attempting to do, I actually suspected their being another key logger on my PC. It seems this one is a bit more difficult to uninstall ....I'll post later if I succeed or not....still mad at her.

Well here it is..............Just look at the amount of wasted space...jesus...

You could also maybe do a virus scan, although im not sure if it will detect it as a virus or not.

EDIT: Funny how we posted at the same exact time...

In cases, where one suspects s/th like this I'd recommend a run of HijackThis it shows you near everything that's running on your rig right now plus more.

A word of caution tho: don't go about and let hijackthis fix all errors it found without being absolutely sure what you're doing. (For some reason I still prefer the original version by merijn rather than the newer on by Trend Micro from HERE but that's just me
It takes some knowledge to interpret the finds correctly so you should look at it more like as an info gatherer rather than a "One Klick Solves All" -Tool
