Task Scheduler Error message “…arguments are not valid.”

in Task Scheduler: when I select a task, [right-click OR /Menu/Action/] Properties, then click the [OK] button (whether OR NOT I have made any changes), I get an error message:
“An error has occurred for task SyncBackSE Mirror Satellite to House D. Error message: One or more of the specified arguments are not valid.”
This is preventing me from making any changes to my task, even adding a description, and I don’t understand what is causing it. The task has been running hourly since I created it, so the ‘invalid argument’(s) are apparently not preventing it from functioning. I first noticed this yesterday when I created the task; in order to change the start time, I had to delete the task and create a new one with the new start time. In the task’s History tab, there are several Warnings: “Event Id 116; Task registered without credentials,” some (3 of 7) of which also have “Correlation Id 00000100-0000-0002-2581-1703f4acb01” (the other 4 have no Correlation Id). Q>Cause? Q>Solution? Thanks.

SOLVED: further online research took me to publisher's (2BrightSparks) website, where it says:
"- If you receive the error message "Error message: One or more of the specified arguments are not valid." then you must go to the General tab and either choose Run only when user is logged on or tick the Do not store password checkbox.- If you receive the error message "Error message: One or more of the specified arguments are not valid." then you must go to the General tab and either choose Run only when user is logged on or tick the Do not store password checkbox."

Since I am backing up to a network drive, I chose "RUN only when user is logged on" and I no longer get the error message.
