    The English is fine. :)

Try going into "Performance Information and Tools", and then "Advanced Tools." Then click "Erase scores and re-rate the system." That might help.

    Hello mellon head,
Thanks for your reaction on my post, the problemen is that i can't rate or re - rate. This is because the windows thinks it is working on a battery, i aint getting a error POP up or something there s just a message just above the button that says you cant index because your on battery power. And I am not on battery power for sure.

Still I try'd what you told me, also deling that index files mannualy did not work.

Could it be an error in the register or something that tells the windows it is a notebook even when it is a desktop ?

Well, I guess it could be, but I would advise that registry editing is always a last resort. Have you looked at your power plan in the control panel? Something might be set wrong there...

If it is something in the registry, somebody with a bigger brain will have to help on that one.

Welcome to Seven Forums wilcozuidema. Since you have a rather odd problem, I'll suggest running the System Files Checker (SFC).

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

If the SFC doesn't work. You'd want to try a repair install before you go for a complete reinstall.

    Repair Install

    @ A Guy,

Thanks for the tip with the scanning,

It worked out fine, the scan told me there where some errors and I had to do a reboot. After the reboot my windows theme was gone ( universalthemepatcher ) Think that windows also uninstalled that. But When I was trying to do a new Index Scan it worked, and the message of the battery was gone !! Super !!

    My Index
Now I only need a faster HardDisk haha

Great, yes, you need to patch your system again, then all your themes will work.
    Universal Theme Patcher

    Glad you got it sorted
