Windows 7: Programs that Remain Open when Exiting Windows 7

Programs that Remain Open when Exiting Windows 7

When I exit out of Windows 7 (Home Edition 64 bit), there are always two messages that appear about programs that are still open at the time of exiting from Windows 7.

I would like to eliminate the need to click yes or okay to having Windows 7 close these programs for me during the exiting process of Windows 7.

What is the best way to do this? Generally, I close any programs before exiting Windows 7, but there may be one or more programs that continue to run in the background.

Thanks for any tips.

Hello Schwine,

You might see if decreasing the shut down time may be able to help speed this process up for you. You may need to play with different settings to see what may work best for you.

Shut Down -Speed Up

Hope this helps,
Shawn
