4gb, and I know there will be little if any improvement with ready boost with 4gb. But while I play with it, I want correct drive settings.

Hello all, Have a question regarding Readyboost. I have a my book essential 1TB and a 186 gb MTD external HD. Both say divice cannot be used for Readyboost. But my 4gb scan disk camera card allows the use of Readyboost. Just wondering why it wont let me use the other harddrives.

My laptop is an Acer 5738Z with Windows 7 Home Premium.It has 3 GB Ram.If I put in a USB stick and used it for Readyboost,how much benefit would I get?What I am trying to get to is if I used a 4GB USB stick for Readyboost,would this give as much benefit as upgrading my Ram by 4 GB.?

Hey, can one of you guys running the 32 bit 7022 build tell me if there is a service (services.msc from the start menu search) called readyboost or similar? I can't seem to enable my usb flash drive and it was fine in build 7000. When I boot to safe mode, I see rdyboost.dll load so I know it's on...
