Windows 7: Pc working slow

Pc working slow

My pc was running games beautifully until one day the pc was not starting and gave this error "disk read error" but i somehow got rid of it and the pc started but my games started working slow
today i formatted my whole pc but still no luck the pc still works slow

P.S i had installed a beta version of bios before i had the pc working after the error but now i have installed it to the previous version but it runs slow

Please help me

You may care to run a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) diagnostic; find your HDD maker at the link below; be sure to post back with an update.

you might have thoose CRC errors, you can change your cable, or your drive is dying..

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Home Premium x64

As recommended, replace the data cable, however, I am willing to bet, if you leave the computer on, doing something or nothing, it gets progressively worse. Which is probably the HD is having thermal failure.
