It seems to do a really great job of uninstalling cleanly and it shows you all the leftover files and gives you the option of deleting all of them. Seems to work way better than the standard windows utility.

So far I don't use any registry cleaners. Time will tell though.
Revo Uninstaller is a very good and safe tool. I use and a lot of us here recommend it.

To have problems is not unusual and many are the machinations of many users, but if you seriously believe that your problems came from CCleaner, then by all means contact them. They will be more that glad to hear from you.

I use CCleaner, not to "clean" the registry but to let me know what some programs have tried to implant into my registry. I've detected malware simply by running CCleaner and Auslogic's registry cleaner.

When I remove a program, then I expect the program's uninstall feature to clean up behind itself. Most don't with Microsoft being one of the very worst offenders.
Do you use the CCEnhancer as well???
Add more programs to CCleaner
Added quiet a few to mine

Should I use a Registry Cleaner?
Running Windows 7 32-bit operating system on Gateway GT5622 desktop computer. Event Viewer reports errors 7026, 7003, and 7001. The description for these errors is misconfigured system files. Should I use a system cleaner to correct these errors?

Any help with CC registry cleaner?
Have Win-7 Ultimate. When I run CCleaner I get this readout: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/wsp617/registrycleaner_zps111645a4.jpg When told to clean all the registry it says it has cleaned it. But when C Cleaner is run again the exact readout is repeated. Obviously not cleaning it...

I add and remove programs frequently and think I would like to use a registry cleaner to clean out the pieces. Are any safe to use? Thanks.

Finalizing my upgrade from vista 32 bit to Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, but I need a native 64 bit reigstry cleaner. Apparently 32bit cleaners are unable to recognise the whole registry that windows has, so it may cause more harm than good. Could some recommened one that they are using with 64bit OS
