    Blinking tabs

Just noticed today that my browser tab at bottom of screen blinks orange every second. Whether I have it minimized or maximized or even using it at all. It doesn't do it if I'm not using it's only if I have a webpage on it. As if its trying to tell me there's something I should look at it in there? Not a big deal but it all of a sudden started doing that and it's kind of annoying to look at.

Actually I closed all the web pages and it is no longer doing that. Might have been a specific web page doing it I am unsure. I do not miss it though.

Hello Metal99Raven, welcome to Seven Forums!

It was probably some "drive-by" trying to install a virus, maybe you should download and install the free version of Malwarebytes from the link below and then run a complete/full scan just to be sure; be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

I actually already have the full malwarebytes program. So I don't think it could have been virus related.

OK, as long as you don't think so.

Mine does that too Metal99Raven .... once I click on the page link, it stops blinking and returns to the normal color in the task tray.

It's an alert to new activity in the window. The fact that it's constantly blinking though is strange. Even at idle on a site like Google?
