| | >2GB files System Slow Down (win7/x64/8GB) I process large image files, mostly TIF and PSD. I have issues with any file over 2GB. With my current setup I experience sever slow downs when trying to open/save or view in the Windows-Explorer in anything other than plain list view (no file size info). All other applications work perfectly fine and fast, including PS/CS5 which has no problems handling these files. Only, as I said, when it comes to open/save I may have to wait up to 15 mn. So it doesn't crash. It eventually will finish what it has to do. thank you in advance for any help with this nino |
