>2GB files System Slow Down (win7/x64/8GB)
I process large image files, mostly TIF and PSD. I have issues with any file over 2GB.
With my current setup I experience sever slow downs when trying to open/save or view in the Windows-Explorer in anything other than plain list view (no file size info).
All other applications work perfectly fine and fast, including PS/CS5 which has no problems handling these files. Only, as I said, when it comes to open/save I may have to wait up to 15 mn. So it doesn't crash. It eventually will finish what it has to do.
thank you in advance for any help with this
