    @ Kilodow,

my Dell c400 came with a DVD player (external ofcourse), but I think it can be done from a USB device thats big enough to hold a disk image.

not sure though if that would work on my C400...

you could also divide your 100 gb HD into 2 partitions, and run an install from the existing OS (probably XP), when it reboots my guess is that the installation files are already on your new partition, i havent tried this yet myself...

you could (as a last resort) trie to borrow a external DVD player from someone, and install it that way (would be the easyest)

if you run in to any problems, PM me...

Typing this from my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA with an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, and 160 GB hard drive. Installed Windows 7 Home Premium on it and it runs fairly well. Not the best thing in the world for multitasking, but it runs reasonably well. Better than it did with that dinosaur of an OS Windows XP anyway.

We should start the WEI 1.0 club! This one works perfectly and I'm upgrading the GPU to a GeForce 6200 so I can have aero working also.

Here is my Oldasaurus An Intel Pentium III 600mhz processor, I had 512mb ram, but I found another 256mb chip to add to it. Installed Build 7127 on a 40gb IDE Hard Drive. It runs, I have email, & SevenForums ! I got till March 2010 to see if it keeps running. Plus I only gave $ 9.99 for it at a Thrift Store.

don't know if i would have paid that much.
