Hi there,
I have a hp laptop
Intel core 2 duo P7350 2.0 ghz
4 gb of ddr2 sdram
Running windows 7 64 Bit home premium.
I have installed CrystalDiskInfo onto my system to optimize my new seagate hybrid hard drive. Firstly I ran Crystaldiskinfo as administrator from admin user, and set to run hidden in task bar and on startup. This alone will allow program to run on start up in admin acct, and of course not in my regular login. So I ran the task scheduler as administrator from admin user acct. Chose creat basic task, 1) name task, set to start when computer starts, start a program (browse to crystaldiskinfo.exe in programfiles x86), did not add arguments or start in, as they are optional and would not know what to put there. then on final screen chose open properties dialog when finished. Then task scheduler asked for my admin password, entered. Then from general tab in properties, change to run wether user is logged on or not, chose run with highest priveledges. on the configure for drop down box default is to vista, but I have tried running for vista and win 7. But CrystalDiskinfo is not starting for my regular acct. this is my first attempt dealing with the task scheduler and I am totally dumbfounded, and hope I have explained and given enough information.
All thoughts appreciated,
Cheers
Ken
