Adding to the System Repair Disk

    Hopefully a simple question.
When you make a system repair disk it gets closed off. Is there a way of adding your own utilities to this disk which are standalone Windows .exe files.

Disclaimer: I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure if this will help but I found some info about adding the repair disk to UBCD4WIN. From what I can gather it requires rebuilding the .iso files of both and combining the re-built files into one final disk. So... might it be possible to create an .iso file of your standalone .exe files and then combining those files with a repair disk .iso file?

Maybe this will be some food for thought for other forum members.

I believe you can mount the Repair ISO, add the utilities or tools you want, then unmount it.

If necessary recompile the ISO using ImgBurn.

    Yes, the process quite straightforward.

Which exe's do you want to include?

Thanks for your help I think I have enough to go on for now. I won't take up any more of your time unless I get stuck.

Just another note. UltraIso is a nice tool for what you want to do.
