    Suggestions for Cookie removal apps

Years ago I had a small program named "IClean" I think...that was easy and efficient in cleaning cookies and/or saving cookies that you wanted kept. They have been out of business for awhile now...can someone suggested various "Cookie Cleaners" that would help keep my cookie folders clean and up to date ?

I believe IClean would also regularly delete the Index.dat file ?

Also...Win7 Pro 64bit seems to keep Cookies in multiple different folders ? Is this correct ?

    C:\Users\Tim\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
    and
    C:\Users\Tim\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies

    Thanks..TR

I would say CCleaner is what you are looking for. It can clean cookies in all major browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.) and gives an option to choose which cookies to keep.

+1 for Ccleaner. For even more cleaning, you should add CCleaner Enhancer

Thanks guys...I know you aren't a CCleaner tech guy...but I'm getting this error when I try to add CCleaner Enhancer:

    CCleaner.jpg

CCleaner is installed and seems to be running OK ?

    Any ideas ?

ccsetup300.exe (installed and system restarted and used/ran)
CCleanerEnhancer.exe (gives above jpg error attached)

    Thanks

Very strange. Try re-installing Ccleaner and see what happens.

As this is on an x64 system it may be that the enhancer is looking for ccleaner in program files and not in program files (x86)

You're right. I didn't realise enhancer has been updated.

Download CCEnhancer | The Web Atom

The easy way is to type shell:cookies into the Start/search field and hit Enter. That opens the cookie folder and you can delete whatever you like.

This (and CCleaner) will not take care of tracking cookies. For those you should run SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!
