Scheduled task problems
Hi all, i have a batch file that backs up a remote mysql database using the mysqldump tool. Ive added the relevant directory to my path so i dont need to state the absolute path to mysqldump, just the name of the application.
The batch file works fine and backs up all of the data as expected.
Ive now tried to set the batch file up in a scheduled task, so i can run it at regular intervals and not have to remember. Ive got the task set up to run as the same user as the script was being tested as. When i run it through the task scheduler i get a message to the effect that 'mysqldump is not a recognised program', as if it cant find it on the path. the only way i can get it to work is to specify the absolute path to the application, which is not ideal.
Can anyone shed some light on this situation?
