    System monitor

    Hi folks,

    Win7 64bit

    CPU Meter is running displaying total CPU and RAM consumption. However this is a dual core box. I expect showing the consumption of each core. Any free System monitor can be download and is free to use? I need to monitor network performance as well. TIA

    Hi OS,

    Thanks for your links.

    I have the CPU Gadget download and installed. Wonderful it displays the % consumption of 2 cores separately. It can be resized for easy monitoring.

    I also have the network monitor download and installed. It is also working nicely. I have a minor problem in respect of resizing it. I clicked Option but can't find the resizing tool/item there.

    Any advice? TIA

    There does seem to be NO resize for that gadget. I would advise searching in Desktop and Sideshow gadgets - Microsoft Windows to see if there is another that will suit your needs :)

    Hi OS,

    Win7 has built-in monitor to do the job;

    Start -> search "Task Manager" -> "View running process with Task Manager" -> Performance

    "CPU Usage History" and "Physical Memory Usage History" displayed

    -> Resouce Monitor ...

    On the right-hand colume it displays;
    CPU - Total 100%
    Service CPU Usage 100%
    CPU 0 100%
    CPU 1 100%
    etc.

    -> Network

    On the right-hand colume it displays;
    Network 10 Kbps
    TCP Connections
    Local Area Connection.
