Copy, Paste, new folder creation time delays
I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same annoyances as I do. There's an up to 1 minute lag that occurs while copying, pasting or moving files/folders from place to place. Essentially, when I copy a file or a folder from lets say, "Documents" to desktop or vice versa, it takes time before this pasted file/folder appears in new place. That is unless I manually refresh the screen.
The same applies to "new folder" creation. Right click on the screen, then choose to create new folder, then hit Enter. The folder "New Folder" never appears at once. I have to refresh to screen to see it, and only then go ahead to edit the name.
I have tried many fixes including disabling the indexing, search, etc., and nothing seems to work. BTW, SP1 RC did not address this issue either.
I run Windows 7 x64 Home Premium and getting aggravated with it since Vista did not exhibit the same problem.
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this nag?
