Slow boot because of network search?

Hi all,

Windows 7 on my desktop takes a hell of a long job to boot. It looks like it gets stuck on the networking part, because is see the loading icon on that part.

I've got no clue what to search for to fix this annoying slow boot time

Thanks in advance!

one common problem affecting logon time is that the computer is trying to connect to network shares and drives and printers that are either unavailable or no longer exist.
another possibility is something in the startup folder is slowing your bootup time. try doing a clean boot first, before tinkering with network settings and shares.
