    Slow program exit back to desktop


    Lately when I exit a program (doesn't seem to matter which program I'm in), the desktop will reappear, but the last screen in the program will VERY SLOWLY disappear in inch-square chunks--like one per 3-4 seconds. I press Esc and the desktop then fully reappears. Any idea what's going on here? Thanks.

    Have you tried updating your driver for your graphics card?

    Yes. Graphics card driver is up to date.

    Yes, but I think it started a while after I installed the updated driver.

    Are you having any issues while running heavy graphics loads such as games?
