    Where is Photo Viewer located..?

So I've been real let down that the Viewer now cannot view .gif.

I read somewhere you must right click, and set it to open in Photo Viewer. I hit Open With and it's not in there. It uses Live Photo Gallery unfortunately..I hope Photo Viewer could solve, and should lag a bit less.

I stray far from Live stuffs most of the time, now would be another time. Thanks much, sorry I was not real sure where to ask.

I use Picasa to view pictures. IrfanView also is good program
And for the problem try this

    • On the Tools menu, click Folder Options...
    • Click on the File Types tab.
    • Scroll down to the extension you care about, for example "JPG".
    • Press the Restore button, if it exists.
    • Press the Advanced button.
    • Click on the Open action.
    • Click on Edit...
    • In the Application used to perform action: enter C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1. Where "C:\WINDOWS" is the directory containing your Windows installation.
    • Press OK
