Windows 7: Chkdsk Results, can someone please help?

oh and windows 7 dont need registry tune ups and cleaners not really in my opinion and others. its been so well built this time you damage it if you poke around in it. people worry about the hive getting bloated but trust me they built the windows 7 registry with this in mind and yes over time it gets bigger wth the more programs you install but it copes ok not like xp or vista. so stay away from super cleaners.

Thanks man I know Belarc, great stuff. Saves serials and all that jazz. I rep'ed ya man. Thanks for all the help. I'm going to back everything up and attempt the clean reinstall tomorrow. I'll post back and let ya know how it went, if everything goes ok that is!

How to get a log from chkdsk after running chkdsk from the RE?

Tools Chkdsk with no /f /r says errors, bootup chkdsk says none
AHCI disk. Running chkdsk from Properties Tools with no autofix says there are errors. Dismount the drive and reboot. Chkdsk reports no errors found. Properties Tools Chkdsk still syas there are errors. Auslogics Defrag also says there are errors.

Have just read Brink's brilliant tutorial on finding stuff in event viewer and went looking for my last chkdsk. Following the instructions I came up with an entry called Wininit it had the chkdsk results etc but as a matter of curiosity why the difference in the location name? as I have seen it...
